15 years ago I brought my personal collection of antique French furniture to Austin, Texas. Many of the pieces date to the 18th century. Now, I am offering some pieces for sale. To give a new life to my antique furniture is always a pleasure!
Hope Chest
Handcrafted and hand-finished trunk made in the 1700’s of champêtre oak from Brittany, France. Fully restored with all the original hand-hammered iron hardware, and complete wooden peg construction.

Empire style armoire from France made with rosewood and burr elm veneer in the early 1900’s. It has two doors with antique beveled mirrors; also has the original brass lock and hinges.

Cherry armoire
“After 200 hour of labor, I gave a new life to this furniture.”
Regional style armoire from a farm, near the city of Vannes, in Brittany, France. As was the custom of the times, the furniture was made from several different woods.
The side and the front are made from wild cherry. In order to save the rare and precious wild cherry wood, the back of the armoire was made from chestnut and the top and bottom were made from poplar.
Crafted in the 1800s. The armoire has all original pieces, including solid brass hinges and hardware including the elaborate brass key entry plate.
The original iron lock and key are in good working condition.
Inside, the piece has three antique pine shelves.
I gave a new life to this piece, I hope you will enjoy this armoire.
